RenewList Terms of Service

These Terms of Service describe the rules for using RenewList (“the app”, “we”, “us”). RenewList is developed and maintained by Leo, an independent developer.

By using RenewList, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the app.

1. Service description

RenewList helps you record subscriptions locally, review upcoming renewal dates, estimate recurring costs, set local reminders, follow cancel guides, and export your records as CSV.

• RenewList does not connect to banks, credit cards, payment accounts, or App Store subscription data.
• RenewList does not cancel subscriptions for you.
• RenewList does not provide financial, legal, tax, or accounting advice.

2. RenewList Pro

RenewList Pro is an optional one-time in-app purchase processed by Apple through the App Store. It unlocks unlimited subscription records, screenshot recognition, smart add from text or voice, and full data import.

• Prices and taxes are shown by the App Store in your local currency before purchase.
• Purchases, restore purchases, refunds, and payment disputes are handled by Apple under Apple’s App Store rules.
• RenewList Pro is currently a non-consumable lifetime purchase, not an auto-renewing subscription.

3. Your responsibilities

• You are responsible for entering accurate subscription names, amounts, currencies, billing cycles, renewal dates, and payment sources.
• You are responsible for keeping any CSV exports or backups in a safe place.
• You are responsible for canceling subscriptions directly with the provider, Apple, or the payment platform that bills you.
• You agree not to reverse engineer, modify, misuse, or use RenewList for illegal activity.

4. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how RenewList handles data, permissions, exchange-rate requests, analytics, export, retention, and deletion.

5. No affiliation with subscription providers

RenewList is independent. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or acting on behalf of any subscription provider, payment platform, bank, card issuer, or app store provider whose names may appear in user records, catalog data, cancel guides, or third-party links.

6. Estimates, reminders, and cancel guides

• Amounts, monthly or yearly totals, currency conversions, and potential savings are estimates based on user-entered data and available exchange rates.
• Exchange rates are approximate and may be delayed, unavailable, or different from the rates used by your bank, card issuer, app store, or subscription provider.
• Local notifications depend on your device settings, Focus modes, notification permissions, operating system behavior, and the accuracy of your saved dates.
• Cancel guides and external links are provided for convenience. Provider steps, pages, policies, and account flows can change at any time.

RenewList is not responsible for missed reminders, renewal charges, failed cancellations, provider policy changes, or differences between app estimates and actual charges.

7. Third-party links and services

RenewList may link to third-party websites, apps, support pages, Apple subscription settings, or public exchange-rate services. We do not control third-party services and are not responsible for their content, availability, policies, security, billing decisions, or privacy practices.

8. Intellectual property

RenewList, including its design, code, text, and original content, is owned by its developer and licensors. You keep rights to the subscription records and notes you create in the app.

9. Apple Standard EULA

If you downloaded RenewList from the App Store, your use of the app is also subject to Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement, unless a valid custom license agreement is provided through App Store Connect.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of RenewList after an update means you accept the revised terms.
